Trains from Euston
Euston is where the West Coast Main Line starts. Avanti West Coast runs fast trains to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, North Wales and Glasgow, and London Northwestern Railway serves Milton Keynes, Northampton and the West Midlands. The London Overground also runs from Euston to Watford Junction. For many people in south-west London, Euston is the gateway to the north-west of England.
Driving to Euston from Raynes Park
The route runs north through Wandsworth and across the river into the West End, finishing on Euston Road. Journey times vary with central London traffic, so we plan your pickup with a margin. If you are travelling at the start of a bank holiday weekend or on a Friday afternoon, we suggest allowing extra time.
Some routes into central London cross the Congestion Charge zone. Ask us when you book how any charge is handled for your journey.
A station that is changing
The area around Euston has been under heavy construction for several years as part of the HS2 project, and access roads and set-down points have moved more than once. Our drivers know the current layout, and for pickups we agree a clear meeting point with you in advance. If you are unsure where to wait, call us when your train arrives and we will guide you to the car.
Coming home from the north
Many customers book a return from Euston after a weekend away, a football match or a work trip. Send us your train time and we will be waiting when you arrive. If your train is delayed, a quick call means we can move the pickup. Late evening arrivals are no problem, because we work around the clock.
Vehicles and extras
A saloon is comfortable for one to three passengers. Families with suitcases can choose an estate or our 6 seater taxi, and larger groups can book the 7 seater taxi. Child seats are available on request.
Football, concerts and busy days
Euston gets especially busy on days when big football matches or concerts are taking place in Manchester, Liverpool or Birmingham, and on Friday evenings when people head north for the weekend. Trains can be full and the concourse crowded. If you are travelling on one of these days, we suggest arriving a little earlier than usual so you have time to find your platform. Coming back, allow for delays on the West Coast line when you tell us your arrival time, and call us if your train is running late.
More journeys we cover
If you are travelling up the East Coast instead, our King's Cross taxi runs to the station a few minutes along the road. For flights north of London, see our Luton transfers. We also run to Victoria and the other London terminals, and we collect from Merton Park, Lower Morden and the other areas we serve.
