From South Wimbledon to the airport
South Wimbledon sits on the Northern line, a stop away from Colliers Wood and Morden. It is a good place to live for getting into central London, but none of the nearby lines runs to an airport. Heathrow by public transport means a trip into town and a change of lines, and Gatwick means a train from Wimbledon or Haydons Road with a change on the way. A pre-booked car from your front door avoids all of that.
For Heathrow, drivers usually head west along Kingston Road through Merton Park and Raynes Park, then on through Kingston. For Gatwick, the route runs south through Morden towards the M25 and the M23. Your driver picks the quickest option on the day.

If you live in a flat on one of the main roads where stopping is difficult, tell us and we will arrange a pickup on a quieter side road nearby.

AFC Wimbledon's stadium at Plough Lane brings extra traffic on match days, and the tennis Championships each summer add to the congestion across the wider Wimbledon area. If your flight falls on one of those days, allow a little more time and let us know. We will factor the traffic into your pickup time.

Busy junctions to know about
The junction by South Wimbledon station, where several main roads meet, can be slow at peak times, and Haydons Road gets busy in the evening. For morning flights we usually suggest a slightly earlier pickup, and our drivers use side roads where they can to avoid the worst of the queues.
If you are coming home late at night, a pre-booked car also saves waiting for a night bus or the first Tube of the morning.
