From Southfields to the airport
Southfields has its own District line station, which is great for getting into town. For flights, though, the District line means a long ride and a change before you reach any airport. A car from your door takes you straight there, and your fare is fixed before you travel.
For Heathrow, drivers usually head west towards the A3, or through Putney and on to the A316 when that is quicker. For Gatwick, the route runs south through Wimbledon and Morden towards the M25 and the M23.
Southfields during the Championships
Southfields station is the closest Tube stop to the All England Club, so during the tennis Championships the area fills with visitors. The streets around Wimbledon Park and Church Road get very busy, and some roads have restrictions. If you are flying during the tournament, allow extra time and tell us when you book. If your road is affected, we will suggest a nearby pickup point.
Where we pick up
We collect from every part of Southfields, including the Grid of Edwardian terraces off Replingham Road, the streets around the station, the roads bordering Wimbledon Park and the area towards Earlsfield. Parking on the Grid can be tight, so your driver may call you when they arrive and wait close by.

Choosing a pickup time
Southfields is close to the busy roads around Putney and Wandsworth, which can queue in the morning and evening. For daytime flights, we usually suggest leaving a little extra time. Early morning pickups are usually quick, because the roads are clear before the rush hour starts.
If you are hosting visitors during the Championships, bear in mind that hotels and short-term lets around Southfields fill up quickly and airport arrivals peak at the same time. Book their pickup early, give us their flight numbers, and we will meet them in arrivals and bring them to your door, avoiding the crowds at Southfields station.
